The CDI South application process is fairly straightforward if you have the correct guidance. Please contact us via email for further information. Candidates are selected according to their enthusiasm, professionalism and communication skills. 

What you need to do first:

 All you need to do is send an updated resume and a recent photo of yourself to recruitingcdi@gmail.com. Also let us know the approximate date that you would prefer to arrive. We will screen your resume and contact you shortly thereafter.

Below are some details of what will happen after that. Please simply forward your resume and photo to us first though.

*One 500 word essay & Initial Questions Document

* Visa documents:
1) Original Diploma — please note “original” — the Immigration office requires the official/original diploma
2) Sealed Transcripts — so your transcripts via an envelope with a seal on it.
3) Criminal Record Check with an APOSTILLE or notarization stamp on it.
4) 2 Passport Photos. These do not have to be the same as the ones in your passport. Photos from a photo booth will be fine.
5) Copy of the front page of your passport.
6) We’ll send you a copy of your contract upon your acceptance.

                                                                                                                                                            

Once we have screened your resume and would like to proceed with your application,
we need you two complete two writing documents: an Essay and Initial Questions document.

1. Essay

- Write a standard TOEFL format essay by choosing one of the five assigned essay topics given by CHUNGDAHM. This is to assess your fluency as a writer.

2. Initial Questions
- Answer seven questions that will help us learn more about your previous experiences and why you want to join CD Busan. About a paragraph for each question will be enough.

First set of candid questions:
A. Do you read, write, and speak English as a first language?
B. Do you hold a valid passport issued from the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Great Britain, Ireland, South Africa, or Korea?
C. Do you have a 3 or 4 year bachelor’s degree from an accredited university from the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Great Britain, Ireland, South Africa, or Korea?
D. Can you provide official sealed-transcripts from the university you have graduated from?

Second set of questions:
A. Do you have a criminal record? (Background checks are a standard procedure for all schools in Korea)
B. Have you used any illegal substances in the past 6 months like marijuana, cocaine or any other drugs that are a outlawed in South Korea?
