Finalists of the 2008 CD South Scavenger Hunt
On November 31st, Jareb Steines, Head Instructor of CD Dongrae, organised a Scavenger Hunt for the teachers at all of our branches. We met up at Busan tower in Nampodong at 11am and completed various tasks, like ‘taking a photo of a team member giving W1,000 to a child under the age of 4′ and ‘taking a team photo in front of a Family Mart (convenience store) wearing face masks’. A fun time was had by all attendees.
Here are the participants who were lucky enough to make it to the final destination in the basement floor of the Lotte Department Store in Seomyeon. Congratulations to Team Dongnae for completing more than 30 tasks and winning the event. Also, thanks go out to Jareb Steines for all of his organisation efforts.

A Happy Halloween for our April Branches!
For our recent Halloween, we held special events at all of our April English branches for the younger students. Staff and teachers spent long hours preparing their schools with special decorations and costumes. On the day, special Halloween-themed lessons and games were enjoyed by the students with candy prizes. Photos from our various branches are below!
This was a very successful event for our schools and teachers.
Come and join us next time!

The First Busan CD and April Sports Day!
On October 12th 2008, the 15 CD and April English branches from Busan and Changwon cities met together at the grounds of Yeonsan Middle School for a company-wide sports day. Events included Foot Baseball, Tug-of-war, Karaoke and Dodgeball. In the end, a lot of laughs were had and many new friendships between the branches were made.
Such events are symbolic of the cohesion and friendliness between the CD South community and we look forward to the next gathering at the end of the year.
Morning warm-up exercises
The dodgeball matches were hotly contended
For lunch, the company spent US$1500 on food, including two roast pigs, as well as $500 on beer! It’s just our way of saying “Thank you for all your hard work!”
The object of this game was to hold the material so that someone could race across it
Teamwork is vital whenever you have a giant floating ball to bounce
Massaging each others shoulders in preparation for Tug-o-war!

It was an enjoyable day for all. Come and join us next time!
